PACS SYSTEMS ENGINEER
nOVERVIEW
nTECHNOLOGIX GROUP IS SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED; HIGHLY CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED PROCESS-DRIVEN PACS ENGINEER. THIS POSITION REQUIRES A PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS WITH A PASSION FOR MEDICAL AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES. THIS POSITION IS AVAILABLE AT OUR DOWNTOWN SHREVEPORT OFFICE. FOR HIGHLY EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES, THIS POSITION IS AVAILABLE AS REMOTE/TELECOMMUTE; THOUGH REGULAR TRAVEL TO OUR SHREVEPORT OFFICE AND TO CLIENT SITES WILL BE REQUIRED.
nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide remote and on-site PACS application support n
- Install, maintain, and support applications on client hardware n
- Test new products and technologies prior to deployment n
- Create thorough and accurate documentation on all project and support efforts n
- Investigate end-user problems and identify their source; determine and implement solutions n
- Configure and install network hardware n
- Work in conjunction with team members to implement projects successfully n
- Occasional travel n
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

- Understanding of HL7 and DICOM n
- Experience with medical IT systems n
- Understanding of Radiology and Cardiology workflow n
- Experience with PACS applications in a clinical setting n
- Experience with Windows server environments n
- Experience with Hyper-V virtualization solutions n
- Experience with local and wide area networks n
- Experience as PACS vendor technical support is highly preferred n
QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent n
- 5+ years of experience n
- Professional, Industry, and Vendor certifications n
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding n
- Ability to concisely document issues and resolution steps n
- Must be fluent in English (spoken and written) n
