Automotive Service Advisor / Assistant Manager

nWe are a well-established, family-owned, multi-franchise automotive dealer group representing Ford, Nissan, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram, seeking a Service Advisor/ Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a leadership role for someone with a proven track record in automotive dealership service operations and a deep understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs), service benchmarks, and operational excellence .
nResponsibilities:

- Greet customers with professionalism and enthusiasm n
- Write and manage repair orders from intake to delivery n
- Communicate effectively with technicians and parts department n
- Maintain high levels of CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) n
- Monitor and manage daily service department workflow n
- Assist in coaching and supporting service advisors and support staff n
- Track and analyze department KPIs and performance metrics n
- Help implement and maintain efficient service processes and best practices n
- Step up and lead when the Service Manager is unavailable n
Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in an automotive dealership service department n
- Proven understanding of service department KPIs (ELR, hours per RO, CSI, etc.) n
- Strong customer service skills with a people-first mentality n
- High energy, self-motivated, and “whatever-it-takes ” attitude n
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills n
- Experience with DMS systems (e.g., Dealertrack, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) preferred n
- Bilingual a plus, but not required n
