Körber Supply Chain LLC is seeking a Simulation Engineer to join our bid management team. This role will work cross-functionally with the sales and engineering teams. Responsibilities of this role will include creating, reviewing, and presenting simulations to both internal teams and external customers. Experience creating MHE simulations for a variety of solutions will be required.
Your role in our team
- You will work closely with applications engineers, estimators, and sales throughout the bid development process.
- You will collaborate with execution engineering and management teams during firm engineering on assigned tasks.
- You will create simulations and emulations alongside engineering teams to assess solution feasibility and capability based on drawn layouts.
- You will conduct internal and external meetings to present and showcase material handling equipment (MHE) solutions.
- You will support projects ranging in size from $100K to over $150M.
- You have a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related field.
- You have extensive knowledge of logistics solutions, with a focus on parcel systems.
- You have strong proficiency in AutoCAD and the Navis suite of software.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- You have the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines.
- You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You have the ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
- You have at least two years of experience in a similar role.
- You have the flexibility to take on other duties as assigned.
