QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- Serv-Safe Certified
- Able to read and make adjustments on quantity cooking recipes
- Able to use commercial kitchen equipment
- Able to pass or proof of passing physical
- Excellent attendance and punctuality preferred
DUTIES:
- Complete production records daily for USDA
- Abide by health, sanitation, and safety rules
- Assist with Breakfast in the classroom
- Maintain kitchen equipment and assist with food ordering
- Batch cooking
- Maintain accurate production records, including temperatures
- Assist in cleaning and storing equipment and food supplies
- Adhere to FIFO and health department rules and regulations
- Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards for staff, students, and equipment at all times
- Responsible for understanding the basic principles by which the School Breakfast and Lunch Programs are operated and keeps up to date on School Nutrition regulations and codes
- Responsible to ensure that meals are ready to serve at the time(s) set by the building administrator
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with fellow employees, building staff and students
- Complete required professional standards training
RESPONSIBLE TO:
Director of Food Service
WORK SCHEDULE:
- 8:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. (Monday - Friday)
