nJob Description
nThe Advanced Imaging Systems Engineer is recognized as an expert in the imaging modalities support. They are highly competent and spend 70% of their time repairing, inspecting, troubleshooting and calibrating imaging equipment. They are a key resource in work history data analysis, equipment acquisition and life cycle planning, outside vendor management, development of policies and procedures, and the provision of service resources.Ensures all program components support accreditation guidelines, codes and mandates. Perform rounds in related clinical units to verify proper equipment operation and customer engagement. Develops and monitors compliance with equipment preventive maintenance schedules, and their adherence with the manufactures procedures and intervals.
nEducation And Credentials
nAAS - Associate of Applied Science in Biomedical Technology or Electronics Technology required. BS - Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Technology or Electronics Technology preferred. The following licenses/certifications are preferred: Certified Biomed Equip Tech (CBET), and/or ACI/ AANU Certified Radiological Equipment Specialist (CRES) upon hire. RSTI, DiTec, or OEM Phased radiology training (eg: RSTI Phase 1,2,3,4)
nExperience
n5 years of experience in Imaging Service required. Clinical Engineer (AAMI) required upon hire.
