nGENERAL SUMMARY: Provide engineering and technical services to include but not limited to: technology insertion; performance specifications; system integration; installation support; on-site technical support, and alteration/repair support services in support of surface fleet, submarine, and shore-based installations in support of Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) machinery and systems support to the US Navy. This position will be on-site work only.
nLOCATION: West Bethesda, MD.
nPRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides support to Naval personnel with the removal, installation, modification, repair, and troubleshooting of various HM&E Systems and components.

Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the function of the job.

Must be able to read and interpret drawings and technical manuals.

Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and obtain and maintain a security badge for all military installations and civilian shipyards.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, n
Environmental, Systems Engineering, or System Safety

Experience with the US Navy and environmental systems is preferred but not required

Secret Security clearance preferred.
