nLockheed Martin (LM) is looking for an ambitious Systems Engineer to become a member of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team.
nAs a Senior Systems Engineer MBSE and R&V for MK7 , you will:
n• Evaluate technology insertion candidates via trade studies
n• Develop models in CAMEO
n• Integrate new technologies into the design
n• Interface with other sub-programs
n• Work with analysts to evaluate environmental loads on concepts
n• Support requirements writing, model based systems engineering activities, and verification planning
nYOU WILL TYPICALLY HAVE:
n•5+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3+ years with a MS degree
n• Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
nBasic Qualifications:
n• Systems Engineering experience on a development program, including requirements flow-down, requirements derivation, requirements generation, requirements decomposition, verification planning, system architecture, and CONOPS development.
n• Experience with one or more of the following:
na.) System/subsystem trade studies and/or System modeling
nb.) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
nc.) System Integration, Test and/or Verification
nd.) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
ne.) Design reviews
n• Systems Engineering lifecycle experience (Cameo/DOORS)
n• Using MBSE execution and analysis tools and managing model content
n• Experience developing system architecture and CONOPs with system design and decomposition
n• Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
nDesired Skills:
n• Proficiency in Trade Studies
n• Experience with Missile flight electronic components and/or other electronic subsystems
n• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent social skills, and ability to create consensus among peers while forming relationships with team members
n• Familiarity and experience partnering with Customer Partners
n• Familiarity with software integration
n• Experience in systems engineering, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment
n• Strong understanding of systems Engineering principles
n• Active Top Secret clearance

nAbility to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. nPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
