SUMMARY - Regional Sales Director Individual Contributor Role Based anywhere in California: 

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for expanding Our Client's local market presence throughout the U.S Western region. They will drive sales growth by maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities. They will represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a strong focus on customer service. They will also play an active role in optimizing sales reporting to support the development of clear and effective sales strategies. Finally, they will uphold Our Client's core values and helps maintain a culture of performance and customer service excellence.

Compensation

  • Base of around the $90K arena
  • Paid from dollar ONE currently on $1M in sales
  • 4.5% when you walk in the role
  • 6.0% on all growth dollars achieved when quota is exceeded on a monthly basis
  • Expected first year OTE at or near $150,000.  Of course that's uncapped and completely up to YOU!  

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES **We all know additional responsibilities and curve balls always come with an outside sales role!**

Sales Strategy and Business Development

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed targets in the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and sales channels.
  • Actively involved in defining, analyzing, and monitoring key sales KPIs, with regular reporting to the sales management.
  • Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to maintain a strong competitive position.
  • Identify relevant trade shows and coordinate with the Quebec headquarters and the Marketing team to plan participation and allocate budgets.
  • Represent Panthera at regional industry events and trade shows.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, including dental clinics, laboratories, and practitioners.
  • Conduct regular client visits and needs assessments to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Working closely with the Customer Experience team at headquarters to support key accounts.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations (virtually and in person) tailored to client needs.
  • Providing outstanding service and promptly resolve client issues to ensure a positive experience.

Operational Execution and Reporting

  • Collaborate with the strategic team to implement the commercial strategy and recommend adjustments based on market realities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to order fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Use the company’s CRM to manage the sales pipeline, maintain data integrity, and provide accurate forecasts.
  • Collect and share market feedback and customer insights with the sales leadership.
  • Maintain up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of all Panthera Dental products and updates.

BACKGROUNDS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5-7 years of proven sales experience, ideally within the dental industry medical, healthcare industry, or related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a regional or territory-based role.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Copper, Salesforce, Pipedrive)
