About the Role
The Company is searching for an accomplished Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications to join its dynamic leadership team. In this strategic role, you will partner closely with the CEO to oversee all corporate communications, branding, public relations, and patient advocacy initiatives. You will be pivotal in crafting and executing a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with the company’s ambitious goals and bolsters its standing as a global leader in biotechnology.
Key responsibilities include:
- Shaping the company’s narrative and producing impactful communication materials.
- Enhancing media relations to elevate the company’s public profile.
- Designing and rolling out internal communication strategies to boost employee engagement, particularly during transformative periods.
The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 18 years of experience in leadership positions within corporate communications and public relations, with at least 10 years specifically in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, while an advanced degree is preferred. You should have a proven track record of successful communication strategies, exceptional leadership abilities, and superb written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with SEC and FDA regulations impacting communications is essential, as is experience in crisis communication and issues management. The ability to forge and maintain strong relationships with media, stakeholders, and industry influencers is crucial. We are looking for an inspirational leader who can mentor a team to achieve business objectives.
