nThe Joint Strike Fighter (F-35) Ground Support Equipment team is seeking highly qualified applicants for a position as a JSF Support Equipment (SE) Mechanic, at Ebbing ANGB, Arkansas;
nThis position performs assembly, installation, maintenance, and repairs on program provided ground support equipment. Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.
nThe successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of both F-35 ground support equipment, as well as tool room based support equipment. To include Engine back shop support equipment as necessary. May be required to perform occasional nonstandard maintenance on equipment based on nature of maintenance need. Maintains appropriate maintenance, inventory, and repair logs. Uses a variety of hand, power, and test equipment. Frequently enters data into the Logistics Management System to document any maintenance action performed on equipment. Also, may be required to take on additional duties ie. driver training program, safety POC etc.
nYou will be required to conduct familiarization of equipment theory and operation to new employees in the same job position, or to the customer during day to day operations. May require infrequent travel to other F-35 locations to participate in equipment training classes, and participate in short term customer support assignments at off-site locations as necessary.
nMust be able to operate in a constantly evolving maintenance environment.
n* US Citizenship is required. A final DoD Secret Security Clearance is required prior to starting.
nCandidate MUST be able to relocate near Ebbing ANGB, Arkansas in order to assume this role

nBasic Qualifications:
nMinimum 4 years experience with AGE / GSE equipment maintenance with USAF, USMC, or USN
nAbility to frequently lift / pull / push equipment over 50lbs
nAbility to acquire and maintain a local flightline drivers certification
nCapable of working in hazardous flightline environment
nCandidate must be willing and able to support operations on both Dayshift/Swingshift/midshift, depending on shop / customer needs
nDesired Skills:
nPrior military flightline maintenance experience in AGE / GSE sustainment preferred.
nExcellent communication skills
nKeen ability to be a self-starter
nCertified in Refrigerant service and reclamation - CFC/HCFC Refrigerant Processing Certificate
nSupport Equipment data management experience;
nFamiliarity with DoD maintenance manuals;
nExperience with military standard maintenance practices
nStrong personal work ethic and maintenance quality mindset.
nProficient using MS Office Software including; Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook; Highly computer literate
nExperience using engineering drawings and technical data.
nKnowledge of industrial and aircraft maintenance safety standards
nSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
