DGE4 - WHTO - Fleet Mechanic

WhiteRecon Logistics, LLC is a Veteran Owned Small Business, Amazon Delivery Service Partner looking for a Mechanic to help us maintain our Delivery Fleet Vehicles.
Benefits and Scheduling:

• $25.00 / Hour base pay. Up to $28.00 / hour . Additional raises provided based on knowledge, job performance, and length of employment.

• Typical shift is 10 hours and typical workweek is 4 days (40 hours).

Position Overview

• Performs inspections and repairs on fleet vehicles and orders parts as necessary. Maintains service/repair records.

Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds (overhead) in weight.

• Comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance techniques and practices
• Ability to diagnose and repair both routine and the more complex problems on all types of automotive vehicles and components.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment associated with the trade.

Responsibilities

• Perform fleet vehicle inspections, major and minor repairs, as well as monitoring on-going regular scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect, charge, and replace batteries.

• Change and repair tires.
• Maintain fluids.
• Wheel and brake system maintenance.
• General automotive electrical diagnostics and maintenance.
• General engine diagnostic repairs and maintenance.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and diagnose a fleet vehicle.
• Ensure fleet vehicles are in safe, working order when placed in service, and free of mechanical defects.
• Maintain time, mileage, and servicing records.
• Travelling to make remote repairs.

Experience:
One year of journey level experience performing automotive maintenance and repair.
