Job Description
The Senior Quality Engineer will:
  • Maintain and improve the company's Quality Management System through audits, corrective actions, and process updates
  • Develop and implement quality plans, inspection procedures, and validation documentation (including PPAP, MSA, DOE, and capability studies)
  • Lead or support product design reviews, focusing on GD&T, tolerances, and manufacturability
  • Analyze nonconformances and coordinate effective resolution with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Support and mentor Quality Engineers and Technicians to ensure consistent quality practices
  • Conduct supplier audits and participate in supplier quality improvement initiatives
  • Represent the company during customer visits and complaint resolution processes
  • Identify and implement new technologies or techniques to improve inspection accuracy and throughput
  • Develop statistical analyses to ensure product conformance to customer specifications
  • Coordinate and execute quality-related projects across cross-functional teams
  • Utilize Six Sigma, SPC, and other methodologies to drive continuous improvement
  • Manage multiple priorities while collaborating with production, engineering, and commercial teams

The Successful Applicant
The successful Senior Quality Engineer applicant will have a:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing (metal stamping, injection molding, or similar industries)
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949 standards
  • Proficient in GD&T, metrology, and inspection methods
  • Hands-on experience with PPAP, APQP, MSA (gage R&R), and validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • Skilled in statistical analysis, capability studies, DOE, and SPC
  • Familiarity with automated inspection systems and vision systems (programming a plus)
  • Strong communication and project management skills across cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in quality tools such as Six Sigma, FMEA, and root cause analysis
  • Experience conducting internal and supplier audits
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Certified Quality Engineer, Auditor, or Manager (preferred) with ongoing professional development
