Position Overview:nAn immediate opening is available for a Process Engineer / R&D Engineer in North Augusta, SC. This role is ideal for a professional with a manufacturing background and proven experience in process improvement and problem-solving. The selected candidate will lead the company’s Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and play a key role in new product development and process optimization.nResponsibilities:nProcess Improvement:nnAnalyze existing manufacturing processes and KPI trends to identify opportunities for improvement.nApply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve material flow.nDevelop and maintain Standard Work documentation; organize production-related materials using a document control system.nIdentify opportunities for cost reduction and lead initiatives to improve profitability.nAct as the lead implementer and coach for the company’s Continuous Improvement Program.nnNew Product Development:nnSupport the development of prototypes and assist with pre-production planning.nTroubleshoot technical challenges during the production process to ensure successful implementation.nnCross-Functional Collaboration:nnCoordinate with internal teams to identify and execute operational improvements.nEstablish and maintain reporting systems to track improvement progress and support key performance indicators (KPIs).nUtilize strong project management and organizational skills to drive cross-functional initiatives.nnQualifications:nRequired:nnMinimum 5 years of experience in a process engineering or manufacturing improvement role.nDemonstrated success in identifying and implementing process improvements.nStrong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.nEffective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.nAbility to work independently and collaboratively.nnPreferred:nnBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.nExperience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping).nProficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks).nHands-on experience with RF heat sealing and sewing technologies.nnJob Title: Process Engineer / R&D EngineernLocation: North Augusta, SCnPay Rate: Approximately $40/hour | ~$80,000/year upon direct hirenSchedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PMnAssignment Term: 6-month temp-to-permnIf you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact Jaie Rogers at or call 678-802-6632.Â
