Job Description
- Helps develop quality control policies and assesses production constraints.
- Works closely with engineering and production teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Designs and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and verifying the precision and accuracy of products and equipment.
- Supports first article inspections and approves materials and final assemblies by verifying specifications, conducting visual and dimensional tests, and rejecting non-conforming materials.
- Develops, maintains, and runs CMM programs; performs inspections at various production stages.
- Inspects parts and audits products according to quality and process standards using visual, layout, dimensional, or non-destructive testing methods.
- May perform root cause analysis for issues requiring corrective actions.
- Reads and interprets blueprints and customer specifications to determine inspection criteria.
- Records observations and prepares inspection and testing reports.
- Ensures corrective actions and deviations comply with reliability standards and documentation requirements.
- May specialize in design, incoming materials, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control, or R&D as they relate to product or process quality.
- May hold certifications in Lean and Six Sigma and apply quality tools to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of government and industry quality assurance standards.

The Successful Applicant
- Experience running and conducting inspection programs
- CMM operation and programming experience (Experience with Zeiss Calypso is a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Background in electronics
- Understanding of AS 9100 is a plus
- Customer interaction experience
- Must be ITAR compliant
- Sponsorship not provided
- Salary ranging from $70,000 - $85,000
- 3 weeks PTO
