CGS is searching for an experienced Simulations Integration Manager (SIM) to support the Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Mission Training Complex (MTC) located at Camp Bullis.
nEssential duties:
nCGS's Simulations Integration Manager (SIM) conducts overall management coordination for all technical, simulation, gaming, exercise design, and administrative support. Our SIM tracks the technical resources of the program and the state of the program's capacity to use the provided technology. The SIM understands the current state of fielded constructive and virtual simulations and fielded Army C2IS. The SIM must manage the fielding plans for hardware and software for constructive and virtual simulations as well as C2IS. The SIM provides stimulation to C2IS from a simulation training environment to fulfill the training objectives of JBSA MTC supported training events. The SIM will report to the JBSA MTC LVC-IA in the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of systems and tools, and exercises and training events. The SIM will also provide strategic solutions for standardizing technology, technical documentation, and technical support models. The SIM will manage a team of scenario developers, subject matter experts (SME), and systems engineers to analyze job tasks, develop new and revise existing training content, and implement revised content based on changes to the system; tactics, techniques, and procedures; and concept of operations. The SIM will attend and represent the JBSA MTC in training, workshops, conferences, exercise planning events, site surveys, and training events.
nRequired qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or a related field. n
- Five years' experience within the past 10 years in planning advanced computer system architectures, planning simulation exercise architectures, supervising implementation of communication systems, integration of computer systems and interfaces in distributed architectures, and integration of C2IS in support of distributed exercises. n
- Five years' experience within the past 10 years operating and maintaining infrastructures that include network engineering, Linux and Windows system administration, and storage engineering solutions. n
- Five years' experience within the past 10 years in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Constructive Simulations hardware and software to stimulate C2IS. n
- Five years' experience within the past 10 years utilizing Army modeling and simulation concepts and tools. n
- Meet DoD 8570.01-M and DoD 8140.03 Baseline Computing Environment (CE) Certification Requirements at Information Assurance Technical Level II (IAT II). n
- US citizenship. n
- Possess an active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher. n
Preferred qualifications:

- Demonstrate understanding of technology integration and information flow including LAN/WAN, firewalls, security, storage, and backup methodologies. n
- Demonstrate understanding of the principles, methods, and techniques used in database development, load strategy design and implementation, security, and change management. n
- Demonstrate familiarity with evolving technologies likely to be used in future simulation architectures. n
- Possess a TOP SECRET clearance. n
