Selectek is looking for a Quality Engineer to assist in improving and maintaining the quality program and continuous improvement within the plant. This position is in Birmingham, AL.nResponsibilities:nnISO Documentation and revisionnLead AuditsnContinuous improvement through planning and leading kaizen eventsnSupport plant operations as necessary to ensure KPI's are metnCorrective and Preventive Action using (Fishbone, DMAIC Process, 8D, 5 Why’snAddress non-conformance using 5-Step corrective action process; problem description, containment, root cause analysis, permanent corrective action, and verification.nConducting root cause and corrective action for manufacturing non-conformancesnWork instructions, standard work, and process flowsnKnowledge of Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Galvanized SteelnnRequirements:nÂnnBachelor’s degree in engineering; Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferrednEquivalent experience may be consideredn2 Years Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or Quality Engineering ·nExcellent verbal and written communicationnKaizen leadership experiencenLimited travel required for job, 25 %nnPay Rate: $75,000-$80,000/yr.nTerm: Direct HirenPlease send your updated resume to OR contact Kyle Lankswert at 470-203-9801.nÂ
