Job Summary:
nProvide systems specific support for all model Falcon aircraft to the command center, field service representatives, service centers, vendors, repair agents and/or customers in regard to the related systems
nProvide troubleshooting guidance, answers to technical concerns and questions with regard to the related systems
nCollaborate actively with coworkers and all customer service departments including Dassault Aviation; Monitor system / component failures and usage to identify potential fleet issues
nPrincipal Duties:
nProvide support to the Command Center, Field Service Representatives, Service Centers, Vendors, Repair Agents and/or Customers to resolve issues including but not limited to AOG support
nAct as a focal point for all DFJ departments providing input on technical issues related to systems support
nAttend and/or prepare regular meetings as necessary
nReview documentation for technical accuracy, spelling, grammar, and readability prior to customer release
nValidate service bulletins and maintenance procedures with W/H customers and/or DAS facilities on behalf of Dassault Aviation
nCollaborate actively with coworkers within DFJ Engineering Support and Dassault Aviation
nTrack, monitor, and report findings for special investigations of failed equipment in coordination with Dassault Aviation
nSupport the DFJ model specialist as required for system based technical issues
nSupport the investigation efforts of NFF and DOA parts
n nMinimum Qualifications:
nEducation
nBS Degree with emphasis on aviation industry or equivalent experience
nExperience
nOne year of experience in supporting technical aspects of aircraft
nSkills and abilities
n- Strong troubleshooting skills
n- Multitasking and priority management skills
n- Ability to read wiring diagrams and aircraft schematics
n- Must be fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
n- Must possess the ability to be a team player with a cooperative and helpful nature
n- Strong computer skills with intermediate proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs
n- Able to manage standard projects / tasks with supervision
n- Ability to find solutions and/or alternatives/workaround in the best interest of our customers and the company
n nAdditional Desired Qualifications:
nExperience
n- A&P license or equivalent experience strongly suggested
n- Experience with Falcon aircraft or Business Jet Support experience
n- Experience in Customer Support
n- Experience in system/component failure analysis and/or aircraft system maintainability and reliability analysis
nSkills and Abilities:
n- Familiarity with French
n- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations
n- Knowledge of aircraft systems
n- Knowledge or experience with 3D design software (i.e. CATIA V4/V5)
n- Knowledge or experience with 3D design software (CATIA V4/V5)
n nWorking Conditions:
nTypical climate-controlled office environment including a cubicle (workstation), phone, and computer.
nDomestic and international travel is required when necessary to accomplish the responsibilities of the job (approximately 5-10% travel)
nCompensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position typically falls between $88,000 and $90,000 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
