We are open to recent engineering graduates, up to 3 years of experience working with Manual Lathes and CNC machining equipment.nHourly Pay range is 20-27+/HR, relevant to experience and education.n100% paid Employee benefits and 70% for Family & Children!nGeneral Duties:nProgramming for CNC MachinesnGenerate Program for CNC high speed mill and CNC lathe on the machine controller and CAM.nCNC and Manual Machine OperationnSetup and operate CNC and manual machines for molds parts and machine parts.nMold AssemblynAssemble molds for onsite trial and for customer request.nMold PolishingnPolish mold parts to our polishing standards.nMold ModificationnWork with molding techniques engineers and mold design engineer to successfully modify mold parts to meet customer requests.nResponsibilities:nnPrograms mills, lathes, and EDM machines by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.nSets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads.nLoads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.nVerifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.nMaintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.nMaintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.nMaintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.nMaintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.nDocuments actions by completing production and quality logs.nUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.nMaintain the machines and equipment for safety environment. Clean and organize machine shop for housekeeping.nnRequired:nnLanguage, math, reasoning, computer, mechanical skillsnAssociate degree or one to three years related mechanical experience and/or trainingnnPreferred:nnExperience in CNC lathe and/or CNC high-speed machining centers is preferred.nExperience with G-code/M-code is preferred. Experience with Manual lathe, Manual mill, and surface grinding are preferred.nExperience in Mold assembly, maintenance, polishing, and repair is preferred.
