Highland Roofing Company is looking for an experienced Safety & Risk Manager to lead and strengthen our safety program across our offices in Charlotte, Raleigh/Garner, and Wilmington, NC . The position can be based at any of our three offices.
nYou'll play a key role in keeping our teams safe, supporting our job sites, and building a strong safety culture company-wide.
nWhat You'll Focus On:

- Developing and improving safety programs and policies n
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations (especially OSHA) n
- Conducting site audits and safety inspections n
- Leading risk assessments and accident investigations n
- Delivering safety training and education n
- Promoting a strong safety culture across all teams n
- Managing safety documentation and reporting n
- Overseeing safety gear and equipment needs n
- Supporting emergency preparedness n
- Driving continuous improvement in all safety practices n

What We're Looking For:
nWe're seeking someone with a strong background in construction safety and a passion for building safe, efficient job sites. Ideally, you'll have:

- 5+ years of safety management experience in commercial construction n
- Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices n
- A track record of scaling safety operations across multiple sites or regions n
- Strong skills in hazard identification , training delivery, and emergency planning n
- A bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety , construction management, engineering, or a related field n
- Certifications like CSP , OSHA 30/500 , or similar (preferred but not required) n
