We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Mid-level Structural Engineer to join our team in our Boston, MA Office.

nResponsibilities

- Prepare structural and bridge construction plans for State and Municipally Owned structures under the supervision of a lead engineer n
- Complete engineering computations to support the development of detailed plans and construction documents n
- Adhere to quality control and quality assurance procedures n
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with other members of the design team n
- Direct and mentor team members in the development of design plans, technical oversight, specifications, design calculations, load ratings, cost estimates, reports, final bid packages, etc. n
- Site visits for data collection in support of design work n
Requirements

- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering n
- n
- Eight+ years of experience required, 11+ years () n
- Three to five years of prior structural engineering experience n
- Massachusetts PE n
- Exposure to MicroStation and/or AutoCAD n
- Knowledge of structural engineering software (AASHTOWare, LARSA 4D, MDX, SP Column, MerlinDASH, Mathcad) n
- Strong written and oral communication skills n
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team n
- NBIS Inspection Team Leader experience and credentials () n
