This role is responsible for resolving customer inquiries related to pricing, part performance, manufacturability, and supply chain logistics, while also driving innovation and efficiency in quoting and program execution.
This position serves as a critical interface between customers, engineering, manufacturing, and internal support teams to ensure the successful development and scaling of new programs, while aligning with long-term strategic growth initiatives.

This position supervises a team of technical professionals and acts as a subject matter expert within the sales organization . Responsible for performance management, technical development, and strategic alignment of the team.

Essential Functions
- Lead and support the team in achieving sales and profitability goals.
- Collaborate with customers and internal engineering teams to optimize product design for manufacturability and performance within Tech-Etch's capabilities.
- Oversee the development and refinement of technical quoting models and supply chain strategies to improve accuracy and responsiveness.
- Ensure that high-value opportunities are properly scoped, resourced, and communicated across departments.
- Act as point of escalation for internal and external customers.
- Provide detailed technical and program-level updates to senior leadership as needed.
- Strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate engineering concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and root cause analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional technical, supply chain or account management teams.
- High level of accountability, urgency, and ownership of customer and program outcomes.
- Comfortable making informed decisions, even when they may be unpopular or require trade-offs.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field) or 10+ years of equivalent technical experience in engineering, supply chain, or technical sales.
- 5+ years of experience in leadership or technical sales management.
- Experience in precision manufacturing is a plus.
