Coffman’s is seeking a Structural Engineer with one to three years of experience with design of steel, concrete, wood and masonry commercial/institutional buildings. We are looking for a creative, self-motivated, energetic individual who would like to work and grow as a team player within our progressive, multidiscipline firm. Coffman is committed to providing a learning environment that will help the successful candidate propel their career to a high level.

• BS in civil engineering (required), with emphasis in structures (required)
n
• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
n
• Registration as an E.I.T. (preferred)
n
• 1-3 years of professional work experience.
n
• Coursework in concrete and steel design.
n
• Ability to work with local architectural/engineering community (preferred)
n
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
n
• Experience with structural analysis software
n
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
n
• Being comfortable consulting to architectural practices
n
• Working as part of a multidiscipline design team
n
• Must be located within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC or willing to relocate at own expense.
