T&M Associates is currently seeking a highly motivated Supervising Engineer for our Municipal department based out of our Middletown or Toms River, NJ office. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office collaboration. This person will be responsible for technical management by providing expertise on complex design projects; people management through supervision of municipal staff engineers; and client management by building strong relationships with municipal clients and ensuring satisfaction on client needs. Must attend Municipal Night Meetings.
Qualifications

  • B.S in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Municipal Engineering, including project management of design and construction projects.
  • Experience as appointed Municipal Engineer of Record and/or Land Use Board Engineer a plus.
  • Experience in the design of transportation planning and infrastructure, traffic and roadway projects.
  • Must have Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus.
  • Experience in reviewing applications for Land Use Boards with availability for Municipal (Land Use Board, Council and/or Committee) night meetings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, self-starter, demonstrated organization skills, team player and willingness to learn.

T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $120,000 - $153,000The actual salary offered may vary within this range, depending on a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, educational qualifications, specific skills and knowledge, as well as internal pay equity and geographic location.
