What You'll Do:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Parts Sales Manager with a background in heavy-duty equipment parts to lead and oversee our regional sales team. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, expanding market share, and ensuring customer satisfaction across multiple territories. The successful candidate will manage outside parts sales representatives, develop strategic plans, and provide leadership focused on achieving and exceeding business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement field sales action plans aligned with regional and corporate goals.
    • Establish annual sales quotas, territory plans, and forecasting models to meet or exceed revenue and profit targets.
    • Analyze sales trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and product/service improvement.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Directly manage and support a team of outside parts sales representatives, providing coaching, performance evaluations, and ongoing development.
    • Implement effective performance review processes, individual recognition programs, and team incentives to maximize results.
    • Conduct regular ride-alongs and field visits to monitor territory coverage, customer interaction quality, and adherence to company policies.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
    • Conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers to understand their evolving business needs and assess satisfaction with our products and services.
    • Address client concerns promptly to ensure a positive customer experience and long-term loyalty.
  • Heavy-Duty Parts Expertise:
    • Leverage in-depth knowledge of heavy-duty truck and equipment parts to support the sales team and assist customers with complex product inquiries.
    • Stay current on parts catalog updates and trends.
  • Business Development & Profitability:
    • Recommend enhancements to product offerings and service models that align with customer needs and improve market competitiveness.
    • Determine company's gross profit plans by analyzing performance metrics and executing targeted sales campaigns.
    • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop regional promotions and outreach strategies.
  • Professional Development & Industry Awareness:
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the heavy-duty parts industry by reviewing trade publications, attending relevant conferences, and networking with industry professionals.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in parts sales, preferably in the heavy-duty truck/equipment industry.
  • Proven experience managing outside sales teams, including performance coaching and territory management.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy-duty parts
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic plans and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to pass post offer drug test.
Compensation:
  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission incentives
