ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts and maintains the Supplier Quality System and Part-specific Process Audits.
- Maintains records of New and Updated PPAP Approvals, supplier corrective actions (8-D, 5-Why, Drill Deep and Wide).
- Issues and Monitors Supplier Material Complaints.
- Issues and monitors supplier charge-backs.
- Performs supplier Quality and Delivery performance rating.
- Works closely with the following groups/departments: Product Development Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality and Suppliers.
- Performs actions toward Supplier Improvement / Enhancements (Capability studies, Gage R&R, Supplier Action Requests), and New Product Support (Process Validation, APQP, Supplier PPAP, New Supplier Qualification (Supplier Audits).
- Attend necessary training classes or seminars as directed by Management.
- Knowledge and practice of Hutchinson AV's Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures and requirements.
- Any other duties as directed by the Department Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of an Associates Degree, or minimum 5 years applicable Supplier Quality experience's Certifications( Quality Engineer) (Quality Technician) are favorable
- Strong Quality Systems background
- Background in Automotive AIAG Procedures to include APQP, MSA,PFMEA, SPC , etc
- GD & T Knowledge
- Ability to interface with Suppliers, Customers, Paulstra Sales, Engineering, Production Control & Manufacturing
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Statistical Software
- Must be a self-starter, organized and dedicated, with good record keeping skills. Must be able to cope with and work efficiently with restrictive time frames and unpredictable situations.
