We are seeking a dedicated and experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives at our facility. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while aligning with the company's MESH (Management System for Environmental, Safety, and Health) requirements . The EHS Manager will drive a culture of safety and environmental responsibility , implementing policies, procedures, and systems that support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and sustain EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with company standards.
  • Establish and track leading and lagging indicators to measure performance against EHS goals and objectives.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify critical hazards and collaborate with leadership to develop mitigation strategies.
  • ssign MESH element champions , fostering ownership and engagement in EHS initiatives.
  • Partner with leadership and MESH champions to conduct annual compliance evaluations for local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Investigate environmental and safety incidents , determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and promote behavior-based safety programs , fostering a zero-incident culture across all levels of the organization.
  • Facilitate employee engagement through Safety Committees, Rapid Improvement Events (RIE), and GEMBA walks .
  • Serve as the primary contact for regulatory inspections, ensuring compliance with air, water, wastewater, and stormwater permits.
  • Maintain and oversee plant emergency response plans , conducting drills to assess effectiveness.
  • Establish and monitor EHS training matrices , ensuring required training is completed for targeted personnel.
  • Manage annual EHS budgets and oversee capital projects related to EHS improvements.
Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing or operations environment .
  • t least two years of experience in a leadership or managerial capacity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field .
  • Five years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment .
  • Experience working in a Foundry operation .
  • Background in EHS compliance auditing within a manufacturing setting.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification .
