We're seeking an experienced Automation & Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the implementation of advanced automation across a variety of manufacturing processes. This role will focus on integrating new systems, optimizing workflows, and collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to deliver high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development and rollout of automation strategies within manufacturing and inspection processes.
- Research and adopt advanced technologies to improve production capabilities and reduce operational costs.
- Drive automation projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Collaborate with suppliers, engineering teams, and operational leadership to design and implement scalable systems.
- Evaluate current processes and identify continuous improvement opportunities using data-driven insights.
- Monitor industry trends to inform technology adoption and innovation strategy.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in automation within a production environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of systems and equipment used in processes such as forming, stamping, machining, and inspection.
- Experience with robotic integration and laser-based technologies is a plus.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, automation platforms, and quality control principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external vendor relationships.
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a strong attention to detail and quality.
