nYou will be a Project Engineer Tech Lead in the F-35 Line of Business Engineering (LOBe) team within Engineering & Technology (E&T).
nWhat You Will Be Doing
nYou will be responsible for developing and maintaining a thorough and detailed understanding of the technical scope, cost, and schedule, collaborating with the Program Management (PM) office, and driving the Domain Excellence (Dex) team performance.
nAs a key team member, you will integrate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate production issues, and coordinate with Program Management on improvement projects, providing technical expertise as needed. You will also lead in process improvement initiatives to optimize technical, cost, and schedule performance, driving efficiency and effectiveness in production line activities.
nWhat You Will Be Doing
nYour responsibilities will include:
n•Investigating and resolving complex technical issues that impact production, working with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
n• Understanding the program's technical information and contractual scope(s)
n• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with production, including technical, schedule, and cost risks.
n• Interacting with senior leadership in E&T, program management, sustainment, and stakeholders
n• Identifying areas for process improvement and leading initiatives to optimize production workflows, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
n• Collaborating with design engineering teams to ensure that designs are producible, meet production requirements, and are optimized for cost and schedule.

nBasic Qualifications:
n• Minimum 14 years professional experience in a related discipline or 12 years with a Master's degree.
n• BS in Engineering or alternate STEM major with technical experience
n•Project Engineering/technical experience
n• Secret or higher security clearance with Special Access Programs
nDesired Skills:
n•EVMS and/or CAM certification.
n• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.’
n• Excellent presentation skills.
n• F-35 Program Experience
n• Experience developing project plans, basis-of-estimates, and integrated master schedules.
n• Experience working with PDM and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel).
n• Experience with contract modifications proposals

nAbility to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
