nUnited Trades of America is seeking a Safety Engineer to support and enhance jobsite safety across our diverse construction portfolio. In this role, you'll help implement safety programs, enforce regulatory compliance, and build a culture where safety is embedded in every action. Whether working on aviation, education, multi-family, or civic projects, your impact will be felt daily.
nResponsibilities

- Monitor and enforce project safety compliance on active construction sites n
- Conduct daily safety walks, inspections, and audits n
- Deliver onboarding, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions n
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and develop corrective action plans n
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and reports n
- Support project teams with site-specific safety plans and JHAs n
- Promote United Trades of America's core safety values across subcontractors and trades n
Qualifications
n- n
- 3+ years of field experience in construction safety (GC preferred) n
- Knowledge of OSHA 1926 standards and local safety regulations n
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification required; CHST preferred n
- Strong interpersonal and observational skills n
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or equivalent experience preferred n
