SKILLS AND TRAITS THAT WILL HELP YOU SHINE IN THIS ROLE: 5+ years of professional experience in a pro shop environment • Strong diagnostic and electrical skills – comfortable solving tough problems • ASE certifications with A/C 608 • Team player – you work well with others and help where needed • Problem-solver – you enjoy diagnosing issues and finding solutions • Growth-minded – always looking to improve and learn new skills • Accountable and dependable – you take pride in showing up and doing the job right Respect for the craft – you believe in doing quality work, not just clocking hours • Paid training. We pay for your time in class • 1 week PTO after a year • Clean work environment • Up beat, positive shop culture • We provide all specialty tools. That includes scanners and scopes • WEEKENDS OFF !! Responsibilities: • Explain automotive systems issues to customers to ensure a clear, transparent repair process • Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes • Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more • Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems • Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle’s integrated computer system Qualifications: • ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive • Strong customer service and communications skills are needed • High school diploma or GED is required • Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 yearly
