Responsibilities: • Explain automotive systems issues to customers to ensure a clear, transparent repair process • Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes • Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more • Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems • Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle’s integrated computer system Qualifications: • ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive • Strong customer service and communications skills are needed • High school diploma or GED is required • Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 yearly
