ICI Services Corporation is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer ( (Command & Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber and Information (C5I)) to lead our Systems Acquisition, Engineering and Integration, Information Warfare and In-Service Sustainment services to the US Navy customers in San Diego, CA or Washington, DC . The qualified candidate will be responsible for supporting organization growth, and help ICI provide technical solutions that support our Navy customer's requirements.
The Senior Principal Engineer will be a key part of our US Navy support team and report to the program manager. ICI Services is a 100% Employee-Owned small business celebrating our 25th year delivering superior products and responsive services aligned to customers' needs.
Security Clearance:
- Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance; TOP SECRET preferred.
- Support US Navy Science and Technology initiatives with a primary focus on C5I initiatives for Small Combatants, Unmanned Vehicles, and various Sensor and Weapons Systems
- Communicate technology strategy and vision to customers, partners and investors
- Collaborate with industry, customers and academia on best practices, ideas and approaches.
- Research new technologies that increase Company's competitive advantage
- Assist with developing Technical Solutions and capabilities for business capture and proposal
- Assess company's technological capabilities and oversee their maturation to support customer needs
- Respond to stakeholders and make improvements in the use of technology resources
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators and metric
- Provide guidance and advice on industry best practices.
- Demonstrated experience delivering solutions for technical challenges for Information Warfare systems and equipment with additional specialized capabilities in some of all the following:
- C4I Systems
- Autonomy
- Resilient Communications
- Platform Level Cybersecurity
- Battlespace Awareness
- Data Management
- Experienced and familiar with Naval Information Warfare Command (NAVWAR,) and Navy Information Warfare Centers (NIWC PAC and LANT) particularly NIWC PAC organization, mission and personnel.
- Demonstrated experience delivering technical guidance and thought leadership to executive level or flag officer staff.
- Demonstrated experience defining, coordinating, and establishing technology policies, plans, and programs that drive innovation.
- Experience supporting, S&T, CONOPs, Technology Maturation, or systems development of USV/UUV C4I systems, payloads, payload integration, sensors, mission support systems, sustainment, Autonomy & Vehicle Control Systems, Ashore & Host Platform Elements and/or Logistics & Sustainment.
- Established relationships with industry partners supporting US Navy USV, UUV ship and systems engineering or acquisition efforts.
- Strong Career Progression providing strategic Technology Solutions in Maritime and Navy Contractor market space.
- Knowledge or Experience with the following Science and Technology Programs:
- Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program
- Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Program
- Future Naval Capability (FNC) Program
- Accelerated Procurement and Fielding of Innovative Technologies (APFIT) Program
Education:
• Master's degree in an Engineering or Technical discipline with 15 years of overall relevant experience.
