Line Cook Responsibilities:
nPrepares meats, seafood, vegetables and other items required for line and special function purposes.
nCovers, dates and neatly stores all meats, poultry and seafood.
nNotifies Sous Chef in advance of all expected shortages.
nAdheres to state and local health and food safety regulations.
nMakes recommendations for maintenance, repair and upkeep of the work area and equipment.
nAssists with other duties as instructed by the Sous Chef.
Line Cook Qualifications:
nPrevious cooking experience preferred.
nAble to work a flexible schedule and/or overtime, if needed.
nAble to push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
nWork in hot, humid and noisy environment.
nStand for long periods of time.
nA culinary degree is preferred but not necessary.
Must be able to work nights and weekends.
