Line Cook Job Summary:
nSuser Restaurant Group Line Cooks take pride in every plate, making sure they are picture perfect. Always ensuring the freshest products are being used to prepare our dishes, the line is maintained clean, organized and stocked throughout the shift. The ideal Line Cook candidate has full service restaurant experience and understands the company’s costs and insures proper recipe adherence. Always follows proper health code requirements, food rotation, labeling and sanitation practices.
nRequirements/Qualifications:
nAble to follow written recipes and order tickets
nAbility in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
nOutstanding communication and leadership skills
nCurrent knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
nExcellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
nAccuracy and speed in executing tasks
nFamiliar with industry’s best practices
nAbility to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a day
nComfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
nExcellent verbal communication and organizational skills
nMust be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis
