This role involves leading the design of mechanical systems for a cutting-edge facility, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, boilers, chillers, exhaust systems, and fire protection. The position requires onsite presence and will be a critical member of a multidisciplinary engineering team.nKey Responsibilities:nnLead and produce technical plans, specifications, drawings, and models for mechanical systems, ensuring they meet client specificationsnDesign industrial piping, HVAC systems, exhaust systems, motor control, and morenCreate detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, P&IDs, and PIPE-FLOnMentor associate engineers and designers, ensuring the growth of the team and success of projectsnPerform field verifications, site walks, and troubleshoot design issuesnInterface with clients to define project scope and design basisnnRequired Qualifications:nnBachelor’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringnProfessional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain (within ~ 6 months ideally)nAt least 5 years of experience with industrial projects, including HVAC, chillers, boilers, and other mechanical building systemsnProficiency in AutoCAD (or similar CAD software)nExperience performing field verifications and troubleshooting design problems in the fieldnnPreferred Qualifications:nnExperience with Revit, Navisworks, or PIPE-FLOnSemiconductor or high-tech manufacturing project experiencennClient Overview:nOur client is a prominent player in the semiconductor industry with major projects and facilities in the Phoenix, AZ area.
