nWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly within a restaurant, catering, or dietary department setting. As a Cook, you will be responsible for meal preparation and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. nResponsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. n
- Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to health and safety regulations. n
- Assist in menu planning and the development of new recipes. n
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. n
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools. n
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. n
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed. n
- Provide support to dietary aides as necessary during meal preparation. n
Qualifications

- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in roles such as Cook, Dietary Aide, or similar positions is preferred. n
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills. n
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. n
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen equipment. n
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. n
- A passion for cooking and providing high-quality meals that meet dietary needs. n
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the kitchen schedule. n
