Job Description:

Responsibilities:

n

n
• n

  Assist Civil Group Leader with Design and Project Management

  n
n
• n

  Perform technical planning and design work associated with land or site development and/or water/natural resources projects, including (as appropriate based on experience and licensure)

  n
n
• n

  Site planning, design, and grading

  n
n
• n

  Stormwater management design, erosion & sediment control design, landscape planning, assessments, and design

  n
n
• n

  Entrance Plan design

  n
n
• n

  Prepare records and construction plans for agency/municipal review

  n
n
• n

  Completion of various land development and environmental permitting applications. Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors

  n
n
• n

  Candidate should be a critical thinker, be willing to learn through trial and error, be self-motivated, and willing to put the full effort into the task at hand

  n
n
• n

  Candidate should have a strong desire to grow and advance

  n
n

n

Qualifications:

n

n
• n

  Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution

  n
n
• n

  7 or more years of experience in land development (preferably in Delaware)

  n
n
• n

  P.E. required (Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and/or New Jersey preferred)

  n
n
• n

  Knowledge of green infrastructure practices, such as bioretention systems, permeable pavement, infiltration systems, and green roofs. DNREC experience preferred

  n
n
• n

  Demonstrated ability & experience to lead a team of engineers and designers

  n
n
• n

  AutoCAD proficient, Civil 3D a plus

  n
n
• n

  Familiarity with Hydro CAD, Hydraflow, or other stormwater modeling software

  n
n
• n

  Familiarity with ArcGIS software is a plus

  n
n

n

Salary Range

n

The compensation range starts at $95, 000 and is based on the position, experience, and licensures.
