POSITION PROFILE
As a Technical Account Manager , you will serve as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of clients, ensuring satisfaction, adoption, and retention through proactive relationship management and technical insight. From onboarding and implementation to optimization and support, you'll guide clients through every stage of their journey-while ensuring internal alignment and seamless service delivery.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, managing day-to-day needs, service escalations, and long-term goals
  • Lead client meetings, business reviews, and performance reporting, driving actionable insights and continuous improvement
  • Provide technical guidance across onboarding, implementation, and support phases, ensuring alignment with client business objectives
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve issues and deliver high-value solutions efficiently
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to expand client engagement
  • Collaborate with Sales to support Managed Services contract renewals and position Visual Edge IT as the client's strategic partner
  • Advocate for the client across internal departments while balancing organizational goals
  • Help clients build and manage their technology roadmap and IT budgets
  • Deliver tailored training and workshops to increase client adoption and product success
  • Maintain familiarity with ConnectWise, Microsoft 365, and industry trends to offer timely, relevant solutions
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field-or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years in technical account management, consulting, or client-facing roles in Managed Services
  • Proven expertise in IT infrastructure, SaaS solutions, and enterprise technology environments
  • Strong presentation and communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Experience with ConnectWise and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a client-first mindset

Visual Edge gives employees access to a 401k program and offers an employer match benefit. Visual Edge IT will match 100% of an employee's contribution up to the first 3% and will provide an additional 50% match on the next 2% of the employee contribution.

Pay Range: $115,000 - $130,000 per year
