OFS is seeking a talented and innovative Product Engineer to join our Design Solutions team in Huntingburg, Indiana. Reporting to the Director of Design Solutions and working in collaboration with various internal teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create technical specifications required by manufacturing and vendors
- Prepare engineering / product drawings
- Follow established quality and manufacturing standards
- Provide technical product information to both internal and external customers
- Resourceful in acquiring information needed to perform duties
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to adapt to a changing business model and processes
- Ability to work in teams and individually
- Ability to meet project deadlines
- Familiarity with furniture manufacturing a plus
- Positive, eager to learn attitude
- Extreme attention to detail and maintain quality standards
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Suites
- Imos iX CAD or Solid Works a real plus
- Degree or work experience in a related field
