nFlexible schedules - shifts are usually 3-4 hours; easy to schedule around school or other jobs. Shifts typically run-on weekday afternoons from 3-7 pm and possibly some Saturday mornings and afternoons..
nThe Position: The Customer Experience Specialist, known as a "Deck Ambassador" works poolside at our swim school. This position plays a critical role in providing an excellent customer experience. Deck Ambassadors are needed at our pools in Chesapeake (Western Branch/Chesapeake Square area), Norfolk (near airport) and Virginia Beach locations.
nYour Typical Responsibilities:
nSetting up and breaking down the pool deck area before and after each shift.
nChecking water chemistry and temperature prior to swim lessons.
nWelcoming students and parents/guardians to the pool deck area.
nAnswering customers' questions about their account, their child’s progress, or about the program.
nAssist swim instructors and managers when needed during swim lessons.
nPost media content and monitor social media platforms.
nMinimum Qualifications:
nExcellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
nHave a responsible and professional demeanor.
nPreferred Qualifications:
n1+ years of customer service experience.
nLifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification(s), may be obtained during training.
