Structural Engineer (Telecom) – 100% Remote (EST/CST Preferred)nWe are seeking a Structural Engineer (Telecom) to support the design and structural analysis of communication structures for wireless telecommunication sites. This role offers the opportunity to work on towers, rooftops, foundations, and custom telecom equipment support structures in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.nKey Responsibilities:nnConduct structural analysis and design for telecom sites, including towers, buildings, water tanks, and rooftops.nDesign custom support solutions for telecom equipment, such as steel platforms and antenna mounts.nPerform load analysis, reinforcing, and extension designs in compliance with jurisdictional regulations.nUtilize software tools like RISA 3D, TNX Tower, OCALC, and ENERCAL for structural evaluations.nCollaborate with engineers, drafters, site acquisition, and construction teams.nEnsure project accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.nOccasionally conduct site visits to document field conditions.nnRequired Qualifications:nn3 - 5 years of structural engineering experience in telecom or a related field.nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.nPE Certification preferred but not required.nProficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and knowledge of ASD & LRFD, TIA-G, and TIA-H codes.nExperience in designing wireless telecom sites, including collocations and small cell projects.nValid driver’s license and ability to travel when needed.nMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (No current or future visa sponsorship available).nnPosition Details:nnSchedule: Monday - Friday, Flexible Start (6:30 AM - 9:00 AM EST)nWork Location: 100% Remote (Preference for candidates in EST/CST time zones)nNo expected travel or overtimennCompensation & Benefits:nnHourly Pay: ~ +/- $38.46/hr--$43.27/hr (~ $80K--$90K annually)nBenefits: Contract position with competitive compensation (W2 offering medical & 401k benefits)nOvertime Rate: 1.5x standard hourly ratennAdditional Hiring Requirements:nnBackground Check: 7-year history requirednDrug Screen: 10-panel test (No exceptions for marijuana, even with a medical card)nnThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge telecom infrastructure projects with a leading engineering services firm.
