A Structural Engineer (Telecom) to be responsible for the design and structural analysis of new or existing communication structures for wireless telecommunication sites (towers, buildings, foundations, rooftops, etc.). The Structural Engineer will also be responsible for the design of custom solutions for support of telecommunicationsnequipment - i.e. elevated steel platforms, antenna mounting frames, etc.nRequired:nn2+ years of related experience requirednBS or MS in an engineering discipline (civil or structural) required (EIT Certificate preferred)nProficient with Microsoft OfficenFunctional to proficient with AutoCADnKnowledge of ASD & LRFD, TIA-F and TIA-G codenExperience with RISA, TnxTower, OCALC and ENERCALnExperience in the design of wireless telecommunication sites to include collocations on existing tower sites, water tanks, rooftops and raw land sites is preferrednnJob Responsibilities:nnReviews tower and rooftop structures and foundationsnAnalyzes tower and rooftop structures and foundations using hand-calculations,ntower analysis software (RISA 3D and TNX Tower) and other acceptednengineering methodsnConforms design to local jurisdictional requirements for land use and permittingnDesigns reinforcing and extension solutionsnCoordinates and manages timelines and milestonesnCoordinates with other engineers/designers, drafters, site acquisition andnconstruction personnel in a team environmentnModifies and/or refines details during project to improve designnPerforms site visits as needed to document field conditions for new sites and sitenmodification projectsnEnsures accurate project status reportingnResponsibilities will also include project planning and some client contactnnFlexible Work Hours-Nights and Weekends OK, as long as deadlines are metnPlease submit your resume to: 678-802-6616
