We are seeking a ER Stroke/Chest Pain - Coordinator.Chest Pain Center Coordinator / Stroke Center Coordinator is responsible and accountable directly to the Quality Director.

Responsibilities

n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

n

n
• Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the Key Elements of the Chest Pain Center Accreditation/Stroke Certification process, including development and review of protocols, initial and ongoing training, performance improvement and community outreach.
n

n

Qualifications

n

• n

  Current and valid state RN License.

  n
n
• n

  Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

  n
n
• n

  A minimum of three (3) years experience in an acute care hospital environment

  n
n
• n

  Excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication skills essential.

  n
n
• n

  Team approach to patient care.

  n
n
• n

  Working knowledge of computers and computer applications.

  n
n
• n

  Day and evening flexibility required.

  n
n

n

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred
