Responsibilities
n- n
- Complete assigned repairs from work orders efficiently and in line with dealership standards. n
- Conduct road tests and use diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to evaluate vehicle systems and components. n
- Troubleshoot, service, and repair various vehicle systems such as the engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, steering, brakes, and HVAC. n
- Work closely with the Service Advisor to keep customers updated on necessary repairs and provide accurate time estimates for any additional work. n
- Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and specifications. n
Qualifications
n- n
- 3+ years of Service Technician experience required n
- High school diploma or equivalent n
- ASE or other OEM Certification required. (Eligible for transfer towards Ford Certification) n
- Mid-level technician skills, with experience in diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair n
- Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for precise work n
- Solid mechanical aptitude and experience using computerized diagnostic tools n
- Strong interpersonal skills with basic computer proficiency n
- Upbeat, team-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous learning n
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, ever-changing work setting n
- Collaborative by nature, with the ability to work well in a team environment n
- Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies, tools, and repair procedures n
- Must have a valid driver's license and a history of safe driving n
