Kiln Creek Golf Club and Resort
We are looking for a professional line cook to set-up line stations and prepare food to the chef's exact specifications. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chefs with their daily tasks. Will have a direct roll in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
nLine Cook Responsibilities

- Set-up and stocking line stations with all necessary supplies and equipment. n
- Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meats, preparing sauces, etc. n
- Cook menu items in cooperation with other team members. n
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions. n
- Breakdown and clean up station and properly handle and store left over food from service. n
- Stock inventory appropriately. n
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. n
- Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations. n
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. n
Prep Cook Requirements

- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook. n
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures. n
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks. n
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines. n
- Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure. n
- Ability to stand or walk for 8 hour shifts and lift 50+ pounds n
- High school diploma or equivalent, culinary training preferred. n
