Senior Process Engineer - Cement Manufacturing - New Production Line!

Be part of an exciting new chapter-our cement manufacturing plant is expanding with a new production line launching in 2026.
Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Process Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Required Experience:
  • Must have a minimum of 7 to 10 years in the cement industry working as a process engineer.
Annual Compensation:
$110,000 to $135,000

What you will do:
Provide technical leadership and drive process optimization across all stages of cement production at GCC plants. This includes supervising the Process Department and improving the efficiency of raw grinding systems, pyro processing systems (kilns, clinker coolers, coal mills), and cement grinding systems. Responsibilities include conducting equipment inspections, performing process audits, monitoring key process parameters, and recommending changes to process targets, equipment, and standard operating procedures-all within environmental regulations and cement quality standards.
Experience and abilities you will need:
  • Ability to work with all levels at the plant as well as with corporate management and technical teams.
  • Understanding complex mechanical and electrical technology and equipment.
  • Achievement oriented, strong work ethic, tenacious, impeccable attention to detail.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Microsoft applications including Windows and Office applications experience is required.
  • Capable to do statistical correlation between quality and process
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing process of the company (cement, block, concrete etc.) and its elements
  • Full knowledge of all technology and trends
  • Knowledge of the main indicators of efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of materials and energy balance in and grinding calcination processes
  • Knowledge systems of continuous improvement, analysis tools and troubleshooting
  • Advanced statistics and lean manufacturing /black belt knowledge preferred
  • Ability to communicate in English, written and verbal, Spanish is a plus
