Reports to: Kitchen Lead
Hours are 6 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday-Friday with an occasional evening event.
Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
- Assist with prepping and serving daily breakfast and lunch (Mon.-Fri.)
- Wash, chop, portion and/or prep ingredients as needed
- Execute timely and consistent food preparation and service
- Clean, organize, stock and maintain two snack kitchens
- Store ingredients according to prescribed food safety regulations
- Clean all dishes, work stations, cooking equipment and food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations
- Empty and clean trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste on a routine schedule
- Sweep and mop floors on a routine schedule
- Assist with monitoring inventory, ordering, unloading and stocking deliveries
- Track and reduce waste alongside the Kitchen Lead
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a similar position
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
