Job Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced laboratory testing in a variety of disciplines, including chemistry , hematology , microbiology , and blood banking .
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure precise, reliable test results.
- Analyze test data, ensuring strict adherence to quality control and quality assurance standards.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure fast, accurate diagnostic and treatment decisions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continue your professional development through ongoing education and training.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Certification: Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) through ASCP or a recognized accrediting body.
- Preferred: Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) such as Epic Beaker and SoftBank .
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
