Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive retail marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives and brand positioning.
- Campaign Management: Lead worldwide teams to deliver best in class in-store (physical and digital) marketing and retail space design, live demo, media event spaces and category product showcases
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, product development, and creative teams to ensure marketing strategies are effectively implemented.
- Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners to support merchandising initiatives and promotional activities.
- Training & Support: Develop compelling and engaging product storytelling vision and strategies that drive impact for critical brand and product priorities. Translate product attributes and brand into compelling marketing stories.
- Brand Advocacy: Act as a brand ambassador for Specialized, ensuring that all marketing efforts reflect the company's mission and values.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 4 years of experience in retail marketing within the consumer goods or sports industry.
- Experience in digital marketing platforms, with strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Proven track record of developing successful marketing strategies and campaigns at a global level.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of retail operations and partnership dynamics.
- Passion for cycling and an understanding of the customer base.
- Based in Morgan Hill, CA. in office 3 days per week. (Tues, Wed, Thursday)
- The position involves 2-4 domestic or international trips per year for market visits, events, meetings, and other related business needs.
Below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in the following locations:
California Base Pay Range: ($55,228 - $90,126 )
*At Specialized, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and will depend on your work experience, skills, certification, and location.
