Position Summary
nWe are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Naval Architect with at least 5 years of industry experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ship design, structural analysis, stability assessment, and marine engineering. As a Naval Architect, you will lead design projects, manage technical teams, and ensure the creation of safe, efficient, and innovative marine vessels and structures
nEssential Duties and Responsibilities

- Lead the design, analysis, and development of marine vessels, offshore platforms, and other marine structures. n
- Oversee and conduct structural, hydrodynamic, and stability analyses of vessels to ensure safety, performance, and regulatory compliance. n
- Develop and refine ship designs, including hull forms, structural components, and propulsion systems. n
- Manage and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support in project execution. n
- Prepare detailed technical specifications, reports, and presentations for clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams. n
- Perform strength, fatigue, and load analysis to validate design concepts and ensure compliance with industry standards and classification society rules. n
- Collaborate with project managers, shipyards, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. n
- Review and assess project documentation, including design drawings, technical reports, and construction plans, for accuracy and feasibility. n
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in naval architecture, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes. n
- Contribute to project proposals, tender documents, and bid evaluations, providing technical input and cost estimates. n
- Ensure the integration of sustainability and energy-efficient solutions in design proposals. n
- Coordinate and support the construction process, providing technical oversight during vessel construction and sea trials n

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and adapt to changing requirements. n
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in technical report writing and presentations. n
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. n
- Proven ability to oversee design from concept to delivery, including construction and sea trials. n
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed for inspections, tests, and project-related task n
- Familiarity with international environmental regulations and sustainability goals n
Education & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field. n
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in naval architecture or marine engineering n
- Strong expertise in ship design, stability analysis, and structural engineering. n
- Proficiency in relevant design and analysis software (AutoCAD, Rhino, or similar). n
- Extensive knowledge of marine classification society rules and international maritime regulations (e.g., ABS, CFR, DNV, LR). n
- Experience in managing or leading multidisciplinary teams on complex projects. n
- Experience with FRP design and construction n
- Experience with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA). n
- Knowledge of marine propulsion systems, energy efficiency, and alternative fuels. n
- Prior experience with both commercial vessels, pleasure craft and yachts are a plus. n
