nEncore Technology Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer II with a strong background in audio-visual systems and field-based estimating . This role is ideal for candidates who can blend real-world technical knowledge with precision budgeting to deliver conceptual designs and competitive project estimates.
nYou'll be an integral part of our preconstruction team , supporting design-build delivery of integrated low-voltage technology systems. Your AV expertise will help ensure constructability, budget alignment, and high-performance system execution from the planning table to project turnover.

nWhat You'll Do

Perform AV-specific scope reviews, conceptual design, and detailed estimates.

Own takeoffs for AV systems including video display, control, conferencing, paging, and sound reinforcement.
n n - n
Collaborate with GCs, vendors, and clients on AV coordination, specifications, and compliance.
n n - n
Utilize software tools (e.g., Jetbuilt, Bluebeam, CAD, Visio) for estimating and documentation.
n n - n
Attend site walks and preconstruction meetings to identify challenges and validate scope.
n n - n
Develop budgets, RFPs, vendor quotes, and proposal documents.
n n - n
Guide the selection and scope leveling of subcontractors and AV suppliers.

Assist Preconstruction Managers with owner-facing presentations and interviews.

Provide technical leadership to junior estimators and support project handoff to field teams.

What You Bring

3-4+ years of direct AV systems experience -field, integration, or estimating.
n n - n
Demonstrated ability to develop conceptual estimates and value-based proposals.
n n - n
Strong understanding of AV signal flow, components, and integration practices.
n n - n
Familiarity with structured cabling, access control, and related systems is a plus.
n n - n
CTS, CTS-D, or other AVIXA certifications preferred.

Jetbuilt, Bluebeam, CAD/Visio proficiency highly desired.
n n - n
Ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
n n - n
Excellent communication, coordination, and time management skills.
